Using the Library Print Station
The library makes use of the same printing system that has been implemented in computer labs and libraries throughout Miami University. This pay-for-print system allows a Miami student to use his or her Miami ID to pay for laser printing and photocopying.
How do I add money to my Miami ID card?
In order to pay for a print job ($0.10 per page), funds need to be added to your Miami ID card. Adding money to your card is easy. You will need to visit the Value Transfer Station machine located near the Business Office on the first floor of Mosler. The machine accepts bills in the following denominations: $1, $5, $10, & $20. The funds you add to your card will be available immediately for use.
How do I send my document to the printer?
In most programs like Microsoft Word or Internet Explorer, you will need to choose File > Print and make sure that you select the HP 2200 printer. This is the black and white printer that receives all print jobs from library computers. You will be prompted to add an ID to identify your print job at the print station.
Where’s the printer?
The library print station is located near the front of the library by the computers.
How do I pay for and print my documents?
