EBSCOhost databases getting a new look

EBSCOhost databases are getting some nifty enhancements this July. This will affect Academic Search Complete, CINAHL Plus with Full Text, America: History and Life, and more.

Here’s the news release from EBSCO.

Check out a laptop

Rentschler Library is now offering laptops for 3 hour checkout. The laptops are wireless Internet ready and loaded with the Office 2007 software you need to type up papers, prepare presentations and work with spreadsheets. You will also be able to send print jobs to any of the laser printers in the library.

Here’s how it works: stop by the library’s circulation desk and fill out a laptop loan agreement form. We’ll keep the form on file for an academic year and each time you come in, you need only show your Miami I.D. A big thanks to Computing Services staff for preparing these laptops for checkout!
