OhioLINK Services Working Again

OhioLINK officials announced today that they have been able to restore much of the data that was inaccessible in previous days. There may still be some sporadic performance issues. More information on their blog.

Still some issues with Internet access & OhioLINK

As of Wednesday morning, there are still some periodic problems accessing web sites outside of the domain, according to the Dept. of IT Services in Oxford. Also, there was a hard drive failure at OhioLINK Wednesday, inhibiting access to the Electronic Journal Center. (Many of Miami University’s databases pull full text articles in from the Electronic Journal Center). Please bear with us as these issues get resolved. If you need assistance, please stop by the Information & Reference Desk in Rentschler Library. We’ll do our best to help work around these issues.

Warm temps and network outages – Tues. Sept. 16

You’ve probably noticed it is quite warm in Rentschler Library today. We have alerted the physical facilities department about the issue. Also, Computing Services staff report that there are sporadic Internet outages occurring this afternoon, so if a website you’re trying to view isn’t coming up, please be patient. If there’s anything library staff can do, please stop by the Information & Reference Desk, or the Circulation desk.
