Welcome Back! Great news from the library!!

newcomputers.jpgWe have NEW COMPUTERS!  Now you can get online faster than you can get settled into your seat, zip through Internet and database searching, and get those files opened and printed with plenty of time to spare before class!!  We’re still working out a few kinks with the new systems, so please let us know if you need a hand opening .pdf files or anything else.

Need a way to store those writing assignments and research articles? All Miami students, faculty, and staff have access to their very own remote storage space for files.  You can get to it from your mymiami page by clicking on netDisc & logging on with your username/password.  You can also get to it from the M: drive of university computers.   If you need help figuring out how to upload your important documents, just ask one of us & we’ll be happy to lend a hand!

Library Open over Spring Break

If you’re needing a quiet place to study over spring break, Rentschler Library will be open 8:00 to 5:00 every day.

Please watch your belongings!

Please make sure you monitor your belongings while in the library, especially valuables like laptops, purses, wallets, bookbags, and cell phones etc.

Library staff cannot watch your items for you and we do not have a secure location where they can be stored. There are lockers, however, in the lower level of Schwarm Hall. Like a lot of other public places, the library is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
