Irish for a day? 1000 years of tradition…

As you go scrounging through your closet for bits of green this Wednesday, March 17th (unless you LIKE being pinched), you’ll be joining like-minded Irish or “Irish for a Day” folk observing St. Patrick’s Day. But did you know that this holiday has been celebrated for over 1000 years in observation of St. Patrick’s death that took place way, WAY back in the 5th century?
