Dutch graphic artist Maurits Cornelis “M.C. ” Escher was born today June 17, 1898. The image at left is titled “Drawing Hands” and is representative of Escher’s famous eye-ending, mathematically inspired drawings. “Drawing Hands” was created in 1948, and is also viewable on the official M.C.
