Food for Thought: Hunger, Health & Human Rights

Yep! EVERYBODY wants some fries with that, even at the library! But what is it that makes them so darn delicious? And affordable? And addicting? Hmmm…if you’ve ever wondered about your food choices or why it costs so much more to buy ONE red pepper than it does to buy a huge bag of potato chips, be sure to check out this month’s Rentschler Library “Food Politics” display. There will be LOT of opportunities for interaction around campus from Nov 15-19, including a book discussion over Fast Food Nation, viewings & discussion over the films Food, Inc & What’s on Your Plate?. Look around campus (or on our big board) for a complete listing of activities.
