Are you a winner? Enter our 2011 Haiku Contest!

When: January 11-January 31st.
Who: Open to Miami affiliates, including students, faculty, & staff (winners must be able to pick up their prize at Rentschler Library in Hamilton, Ohio).
Where: Submit your original haiku in person at Rentschler Library or by following the big link below.
What are the rules? Only 1 submission per person (no profanity please!) and ALL submissions must be your own creative work or you will be disqualified from the contest. If you submit multiple entries, only your first submission will be reviewed.
What will I win?: If you are picked the 2011 Haiku Champion, you’ll win a cool t-shirt AND bragging rights. Can’t beat that!
How will a know I won? Winners will be notified by email/phone by February 14th.
How do I write a haiku? You’ve got 3 lines to write. The first one is 5 syllables, the second line is 7 syllables, and then back to 5 syllables for the last line. No exceptions! An example is below:

Wakened by birdsong;
drifting from one world of dreams
into another
